This is an exciting and busy time of the year when we start hearing about new features of the next version of QuickBooks®. From what we've seen and from what Intuit (the makers of Quickbooks) released today, the new QuickBooks for Mac 2012 will save small businesses time with a Lion OS Experience.
Most of our clients are owners of small to medium sized businesses and it’s time you’re recognized for your hard work. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is now accepting nominations for its 2011 National Small Business Week Awards. Some of the awards handed out last year:
Some of our team are in Los Angeles, CA this week attending the Intuit Solution Provider Summit. We're getting a deep dive into the new 2011QuickBooks products as well as learning more about third-party softwares that integrate with the accounting software. Monday our team participated in a Build-A-Bike event for the LA Boys and Girls Club. We split up into different teams and were timed on how fast we could build two bicyles.
Intuit just announced the new features for QuickBooks 2011. We'll have more detail on these features in the weeks to come (especially in our Technology Tuesdays).

Making a sale to a customer is hard enough. Giving a refund back is even harder! But handling the accounting for customer credits and refunds is easy in QuickBooks.
Effective July 1, 2010, all merchants accepting credit cards using QuickBooks 2010 must adhere to new, stricter password protection requirements. To comply with these password protection requirements going into effect this summer, anyone using Merchant Service-enabled QuickBooks files must download an upcoming June 2010 update.
